Founded in 2016, as Extreme Land Clearing, CBC Construction has evolved into a full service general contracting company. In the past decade our company has maintained a traditional standard of excellence, while preserving a safe and secure worksite for all stakeholders.
Executive Team
Steven J. Clements, P.E.
Chief Executive Officer
In 2022, Steven expanded his father’s land clearing company with a fresh perspective and strategic leadership goals. After graduating from Florida State University in 2013 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He went on to become a Professional Engineer, while working under the tutelage of his mentor. His licenses include General Contractor, Underground Utility, and Fire Protection Systems Contractor. Steven is the proud father of Colton John and Brady Wayne. He is an avid outdoorsman and happily coaches his son’s baseball team.
Tim Brown
Director of Operations
Tim has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He has been a part of $100 million plus in projects in Northwest Florida. Tim oversees the day-to-day operations of crews, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and scheduling. Tim is the wonderful father to one son, Jay.
Amy Pfau, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Our CFO is a Florida State University graduate with over 20 years of accounting experience. She has been a licensed CPA in Florida since 2009 and spent approximately 18 years at a respected local CPA firm, where she earned the role of partner. She joined our company to pursue greater work-life balance and dedicate more time to her family.

Elaine Clements
Controller
As the controller of CBC Construction, Elaine has overseen more than $14 Million in revenue. She has over 30 years in a supervisory role in the Accounting and Human Resources departments. Elaine has been with the CBC Construction since the founding of the company and remains a key role in operations. Elaine’s greatest joy in life are her four grandchildren.
Katie Clements
Marketing Manager
Katie’s commitment and passion are at the heart of our success. Mirroring the company’s vision, she is diligent in promoting and advertising CBC’s products, sales, and services. She graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Katie is the loving mother of the company’s namesakes, Colton John and Brady Wayne.
John Clements
Chief Operating Officer
John got his start with Yon Logging Company as a subcontractor for 12 years in the forestry industry. From there, he moved over to the City of Panama City as a heavy equipment operator, then to Supervisor, for a total of 14 years. His position with the City allowed him to gain the confidence and knowledge to become a business owner in the heavy civil construction industry for over 10 years now, resulting in the existence of Extreme Land Clearing and Excavation. John is the doting Papa to four grandchildren.

Denise King
Assistant Controller
After owning a General Store in Arkansas for 13 years, Denise relocated back to Florida and began work at CBC Construction. With over 20 years’ experience in accounting, business, and payroll, Denise is a treasured employee. She is blessed with five grandchildren.
Sam McCranie
Warehouse & Yard Manager
Sam moved to Panama City in 2002 where he began a career in site construction. He spent 20 years in the field before started estimating, giving him a unique perspective. Sam worked his way up the construction ladder and has become an intricate part of the team. He is the devoted father to one daughter, Darian.
Helen Macy
Human Resources
Helen is an Air Force veteran and proud Okie with a degree in Business Administration from Southeastern Christian University, graduating in 2020. She and her husband of 30 years moved to Florida in 2021 to chase their dream of being beach bums. Helen loves traveling, bowling, and is an avid foodie. Her biggest accomplishment was being Mom to her three children and MoMo to her grandson.
Samantha Coppedge
Accounts Payable
Born and raised in the small town of Vernon, Florida, she developed strong roots in community and family values early on. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University, where she built the foundation for a career in public accounting. Over the course of 10 years in public accounting, she gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients and developed a reputation for her attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Outside of her professional life, she cherishes spending time with her husband and their two daughters.

Bobby Stavos
Project Manager
Born and raised in Panama City, Bobby is skilled in construction project management. He worked in pool design and aquatic construction for over 15 years. Bobby spends his free time coaching baseball, alongside his wife and four children, Lakelyn, River, Banx, and Harbour.
